Sydonnae Symone is an emerging visual artist with an interest in exploring how culture and community can impact the environments around them. Based in Toronto Ontario, her ongoing community facing project, Spiral Creative Labs, partners with clients to impact spaces, by providing fun live portraiture experiences, branded activations and all-age workshops .
Inspired by her Jamaican heritage, her visual paintings speak to her curiousity on dream culture, femininity and cultural expression depicted through surrealist environments. Her paintings and murals have been seen across Toronto, in spaces such as the CF Eaton Centre, Kensington Market and Meridian Arts Centre.
Her artistic goal is to continue to promote creative curiosity, and inspire others to consider how the communities and activations they create, can impact their culture and environment.
